Our home is full of collections - we love a great collection, whether it has been one from childhood or one that we have just started. These collections live all throughout our home, and we would never dream of parting with any of them! We love living with them and changing their locations throughout the year. Two long-standing collections include cookbooks and taxidermy.

The first is Bobby’s mother's cookbook collection of over 1400 cookbooks. These have a permanent home in our kitchen, but we move them around all the time depending on what we are cooking. These range from vintage Junior League cookbooks from all over the country to the latest from our friends Peter Som ‘Family Style’ and Lidey Heuck ‘Cooking in Real Life’. We have recreated a small collection of vintage and new cookbooks at the shop so you can start to build your own collection!

Another collection we love is one that is more recent - from Deyrolle in Paris. On all of our trips to Paris, whether for business or pleasure, we always come home with one new item from Deyrolle. The collection was started about 15 years ago and is housed in various places throughout the home… butterflies, beetles, bugs, fish, etc. Depending on the season, we will mix it in with holiday decor at Christmas and in standalone places that are unexpected (by the toilet paper in the bathroom). It’s glorious, and I cannot wait for our next trip to add to the collection.

Overall, in general, our home is full of objects and collections that we love… and they find themselves in different places all of the time.
